Guarding My Truths

“Who, then, is allowed to ascend the mountain of Yahweh? And who has the privilege of entering into God’s Holy Place? Those who are clean — whose works and ways are pure, whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth, those who never deceive, whose words are sure.” Psalms 24:3–4 TPT

A time shall come when we must worship The Father in Spirit and in truth. And that time is here! No gimmicks, just sincerity, plain honesty with earnest desire. One which doesn’t seek to please man, have a spotlight on a stage or an unquenching desire to be recognized and applauded.

What then is this truth? 3 thing I believe define Truth in the simplest of forms.

  1. Love the lord your God with your entirety and love your neighbor as you would yourself.
  2. For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believes in Him, would have eternal life
  3. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, these I must compel and enforce upon the earth as Heaven’s citizen.

Now that I know, what must I do? Guard your heart for out of it flows the issues of life. Understand that your mind and heart is a conservatory, a chest, an urn and a preserver of relics and precious things.

The most priceless of it all — The Word.

Do men go after worthless jewels? Do thieves raid a stationary store? Does the enemy come after empty vessels? No he roams to and fro the earth seeking prized possessors to devour. Seeking fruitful fields like a swarm of locusts, destroyed in a matter of minutes.

Guard and guide my heart to light, for “don’t you know that when you allow even a little lie into your heart, it can permeate your entire belief system?” Galatians 5:9

And when I have preserved it, cause this tree to become a fruitful forest. For I myself know that in my becoming, I may fall, but I mustn’t allow myself fail, even though it warrants death.

Death to yield more, not death to completely die off. A tree doesn’t become a forest overnight. I must go through time and seasons.

It takes years to grow a forest. Like a neem tree, I must first produce fruits and drop my seeds around who also get to go through the process of death and germination. With time and patience, I gradually become a forest full of energy and life.

These truths, I must preserve, this heart, I must protect, this mind, I must guard. This life, I must live.
